MISSION

The Alexandria Marching Band strives to include students of diverse background, skill and talent into a performance team that fosters individual creativity, improvement, and coordination of all elements into a unique art form. The band seeks to entertain the audience and strive toward excellence in a manner that can be evaluated and improved upon in a competitive and educational setting. Marching band is an enhancement and acceleration program for all band students, which refines their technical skills and musical coordination.

Fundraising

Each student will be set up with an account in a database through the Band Boosters Organization. The account serves as the "Savings Account" for the funds for the trips. The Band Boosters also provide students with ample opportunities to fundraise the necessary costs of the trip. The schedule of planned fundraisers are listed here:

It is the Band Booster's goal to provide these fundraising opportunities for students to achieve their financial goals for the trip costs. The band directors and AAHS and DMS will be announcing information on the fundraisers.
